THE ESSENCE OF A MOMENT – A fashion show – a model strutting down the catwalk, with a beautiful vintage inspired nubuck fine grained leather clutch, with antiquated detailing, calf leather frame – it was a moment – a personal epiphany – a flash of something magical, predestined in a journey through life. "Mine is not a unique story but when you place it in context with the inspirations and life experiences, one begins to understand the momentousness of that one specific moment,which has become the essence of Muldooneys"

Following a dispensation in London, in handbag design and crafting, to understanding the basics of leather and cuts. We set off creating our first collection in a basement garage, to visiting factories all around Italy, Asia (From Hong Kong, to Taipei, to India) all the time learning, gauging ideas, impressions and the differing colors of life, which proved to be the ultimate learning in design intuition. To accessorize or not become the staying motto, any true style icon knows that with the perfect accessory you stand a mile away, be it an unusual piece of Jewellery, a stylish classic handbag or an enviable pair of "kittenish"–heels. The true calling though is actually being able to compliment and combine these elements together,which has become synonymous with the brand Muldooneys.

INSPIRATIONS – We are all inspired by people we grew up with. My father: who allowed me to explore and encouraged me to lead a life less ordinary. My maternal grandmother: a spitfire and fiery matriarch. Diana Vreeland, Simonetta Colanna Di Cesaro, Aline, Countess of the Romanones, Josephine Baker, Daphne Guinness, the late Isabella Blow (tortured fashion genius who defined so much!), Grace Kelly, the writer Evenlyn Waugh. Norman Norrell, travelling to exotic places like Zanzibar or Kenya's Diani Beach, India, Hong Kong, City of Firenze and Venice, Paris, London and absolutely New York – for its buzzing energy.
